?Stellage? is the name of the collective ? made up of Gabetti & Isola, Raineri ? winner of the competition announced in 1952 by the Turin Chamber of Commerce for the design and layout of the building and furnishings of the new Stock Exchange. The name already presents itself as a declaration of intent: the term in fact indicates a particular type of financial contract that allows you to limit the loss of an operation as much as possible. The bet, which was certainly successful, led this seat to become an icon of design and to take part in important collections, such as the permanent one at the MoMA in New York.
